Rayman Legends Retold Needs an RTX 4080 for 4K at 60 FPS

Rayman Legends Retold’s PC requirements are now official, and Ubisoft is listing four tiers that all target 60 FPS with upscaling set to Quality, starting at 1080p on the Low preset and working up to 4K on Ultra. Every tier calls for an SSD with 33GB of available space, DirectX 12, and RAM running in dual-channel mode, with 8GB at Minimum and 16GB across the three Recommended tiers, including 4K. Windows 10 64-bit is only listed for the Minimum tier, while the rest specify Windows 11.

The CPU side barely moves between tiers, since the Recommended and Recommended 2K tiers share an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, and 4K only steps up to an i5-9400 on the Intel side. Most of the work goes to the GPU, which climbs from a GTX 1660 at Minimum to an RTX 2060 Super at 1080p High, an RTX 3070 at 1440p, and an RTX 4080 at 4K, with AMD and Intel Arc equivalents listed at every tier except 4K, where Intel drops off. The Minimum tier lists FSR and XeSS for upscaling, and DLSS joins from Recommended onward, which lines up with Ubisoft confirming DLSS support at launch during my second preview. In my first preview, I said I was looking forward to playing the full game on my own PC with a Steam Controller after feeling some input lag in the remote session, and the second session played about the same in that regard.

Rayman Legends Retold slipped two months from October 1 to December 3, 2026, and launches on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC for $39.99, with Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition included in every edition. The game is co-developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio behind the original Rayman Legends, and Ubisoft Milan.
