Yesterday, Steam announced its family sharing program that will allow Steam members to share their game libraries with close friends and families. But in the fine print, Steam made it clear that there would be limitations to the family sharing program.

Naturally it was expected that not every single game could be shared on the Steam Family Sharing program, with Steam announcing that games which require additional keys, accounts, or subscriptions would be excluded. Now a list of some of those excluded games has surfaced on NeoGAF with titles for Games with Windows Live and from Ubisoft making up the majority of them, which was expected. Interestingly enough, Valve’s own CS:GO, can’t be shared, leading to speculation that the title is heading free-to-play in the near future.

Notable exceptions on the list that has been revealed so far that won’t work with Steam Family Sharing include Assassin’s Creed IIIMax Payne 3Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade EditionDead Rising 2Grand Theft Auto IVL.A. NoireFar Cry 3: Blood DragonDefianceBulletstormBatman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Asylum.
