Tomorrow, November 11, Sony will air a special episode of State of Play focused on games created in Japan and across Asia, along with a few other updates. The State of Play Japan broadcast will run for more than 40 minutes and will start at 2:00 PM Pacific (5:00 PM Eastern) on November 11, 2025. Hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, known for roles such as Shoto in My Hero Academia, Eren Jaeger in Attack on Titan, and Meliodas in The Seven Deadly Sins, the broadcast will feature Japanese audio with English subtitles.

As for what we can expect, Sony hasn’t teased any titles, but there are a few safe bets. We’ll likely see one or two of Capcom’s upcoming projects, including Resident Evil Requiem and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls from Arc System Works will probably make an appearance too. Since this covers developers across Asia, expect to see titles from China and Korea. I’m hoping we get a new look at Tides of Annihilation, a game announced during February’s State of Play that has been mostly quiet since then. It might also be time for Shift Up to officially announce Stellar Blade 2.
