Disney Interactive is wasting little time taking advantage of its acquired Star Wars IP. And it seems that sooner rather than later, Star Wars variants of popular mobile games will be everywhere. First it was Angry Birds, and now Disney has teamed up with NimbleBit, the creators of the popular Tiny Tower mobile game. The result will be Star Wars: Tiny Death Star featuring retro eight-bit style graphics.
Players will be able to join the dark side with Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader on a mission to attract Galactic bitizens, run intergalactic businesses and build an all-new Death Star. It’s expected that it’ll follow the same gameplay style as Tiny Tower which is essentially a tap-and-wait game, but this time around it’ll be filled with Star Wars-themed characters and levels. No official release date has been announced for Star Wars: Tiny Death Star other than that it’ll be available soon worldwide.
