Star Wars: Hunters won’t live to see its second birthday because the game is officially shutting down on October 1, 2025. The final content update will come on April 15, and in-game purchases will be disabled across all platforms on that date. The new Support Hunter, Tuya, will join as part of the final update, and will be available and playable for all users immediately, at no cost. Players can look forward to a final Ranked Mode leaderboard, and will be able to run all battlefields and game modes in rotation.

As a result of the closure, on March 25, Season 5 will be extended for three weeks. Star Wars: Hunters will re-run events and shop bundles from the season, and the Ranked Season will also be extended so players have more time to hit Kyber 1 rank.

Once the servers are shut down on October 1, players will no longer be able to access the game, and it will not be playable in any mode. Those who purchased an Arena Pass for Season 5 will not receive a refund. The 30-day notice between March 14 and turning off in-app purchases on April 15 is to give players enough time to max out the Arena Pass before the end of the season. The same goes for Crystal purchases; they will also not be refunded.

Star Wars: Hunters is a 4v4 arena shooter featuring characters and locations from the Star Wars universe. It’s a free-to-play title available on mobile and Nintendo Switch. There was a plan for it to launch on PC, but it sounds like that doesn’t matter anymore.
