It’s almost every 90’s gamers dream: Sonic the Hedgehog, Megaman and Mario fighting it out for supremacy. And now it’ll become a reality in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. title for the Wii U and 3DS, as Sonic the Hedgehog has been confirmed. This isn’t the first time the speedy hedgehog has entered the Smash Bros. arena, but it is the first time he’ll be seen alongside Mega Man as a third-party, non-Nintendo character.
Earlier, Nintendo confirmed that Toon Link and Peach will also be playable characters in Super Smash Bros., which will be released sometime next year for the Wii U and 2DS / 3DS consoles.
