EA has officially announced SimCity’s first expansion pack, titled Cities of Tomorrow. The Cities of Tomorrow expansion pack will launch on November 12, 2013 and will allow current players to take their cities 50 years into the future. New technologies will allow the Sims to travel by Mag Lev trains and use fusion reactors.
Cities of Tomorrow will be available for $29.99 and will also add futurized vehicles, service drones, multi-zone MegaTowers, new disasters (including a giant robot attacking your city!) and two new city specializations that allow you to build a resource-hungry mega corporation powered by a low-wealth workforce, or an urban utopia that developers clean technology and is controlled by the rich.
