Last month, EA announced that SimCity would be getting an expansion pack titled Cities of Tomorrow, and now the team has released a video detailing some of the gameplay changes and additions heading to all the virtual mayors. While SimCity still has its fair share of issues, some of which may never be changed, the Cities of Tomorrow expansion looks to address a lot of those problems.

Some fans might be annoyed by the fact that EA is masking fixes with new gameplay additions and features – such as the Maglev transportation system to cover up the traffic issues. Other features detailed in the new video include multi-zone MegaTowers, new city specializations such as The Academy and OmegaCo and new improvements for your cities based on plausible future technologies.

SimCity Cities of Tomorrow will be released on November 12, 2013.
