Sabotage Studio’s Sea of Stars has sold over 250,000 units, the company has announced. Though the figure might not stand out in an era where games frequently report millions in sales, it’s notable that Sea of Stars, an indie title, was available on Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus from its launch day. Taking that into account, it’s great to see a game like Sea of Stars selling so well. The company mentioned that while they had set sales projections for the entire first year, it appears they achieved that goal in just one week.
Since the game’s release, we’ve been spending as many hours as we can spare playing Sea of Stars, and our review will be published tomorrow morning.
