Four months after Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster had surpassed two million units in sales, the company now reveals the series has crossed the three million threshold. This figure represents total sales from PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile platforms. Originally, the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series was launched on PC and mobile. It then made its way to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 19, 2023. Featuring the six original Final Fantasy titles, this collection enables both fans and newcomers to enjoy these masterpieces on modern platforms.

It’s been a big year for the Final Fantasy series. Along with the launch of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster on PlayStation 4 and Switch, Square Enix also released Final Fantasy XVI and announced the next Final Fantasy XIV expansion, Dawntrail.
