The next Angry Birds game has been teased by its developer, Rovio, in a new trailer. Hinting that the next game will sport a medieval theme, the iconic red Angry Bird is seen in a knight’s suit of armor. According to the trailer, the next game will launch first in Australia, Canada and New Zealand before heading to other countries.
Rovio is keeping details on the new game under wraps, simply stating in the video description: “Perhaps the most Epic soft launch ever – whatever that means!?”
Angry Birds flung onto the mobile gaming scene in 2009 and has success since, spawning multiple games including a couple of Star Wars mashups. It has since expanded to consoles and handhelds and an Angry Birds movie will hit the big screen in 2016. Most recently, Rovio also announced Angry Birds Stella.
