Nicolas Cage Officially Joins Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight players can now take on the role of actor Nicolas Cage in the Public Test Build, which is only available on Steam. This is the first time a public figure has joined the game, with Cage playing a fictionalized version of himself. How exactly does Cage make sense in Dead by Daylight? Well, you see, while he was on set filming the role of a lifetime, his performance summoned The Entity, a malevolent being of incomprehensible power. Cage finds himself cast in otherworldly Fog and is now forced to survive a host of terrifying Killers.

With Cage’s addition to Dead by Daylight, players will get to experience three new character Perks. Dramaturgy allows players to let their instincts take over during moments of heightened intensity. Beware though, players won’t be able to predict the outcome, which is part of the fun. Another new perk is Scene Partner. When used and staring at the Killer, players will get a deeper insight into their process, which allows them to better anticipate the Killer’s next move. Finally, Plot Twist will let players get deeper into character than ever before, making a decision that is as risky as it is rewarding.

The Dead by Daylight: Nicolas Cage Chapter will be available for purchase on July 25, 2023 starting at 12:00 pm EDT.
