The Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter has already eclipsed the $1 million mark with 29 days to go, making it more and more realistic that the upcoming game by Comcept will be making an appearance on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. The game is being created by a team of former Mega Man developers and looks to bring the same, classic formula to the PC and hopefully home consoles.

The next stretch goal is set at $1.2 million, which will see two more stages added to the game, including Mighty No. 7 and Mighty No. 8 to the story. Mac and Linux versions will come at $1.35 million, while a New Game Plus and Turbo Mode will be added at $1.5 million. Comcept has kept it a secret as to what its $1.75 million stretch goal will be.

Recently, Comcept announced that the reason why Mighty No. 9 will head to current-generation consoles (Wii U included) instead of the next-generation PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One is due to inexperience developing on the next-gen consoles.
