Life is Strange has been announced by publisher Square Enix as an episodic adventure game being developed by the minds of Remember Me, DONTNOD Entertainment. The game will star Max Caulfield, who has been absent from Arcadia Bay, Oregon for five years. Upon returning home, Caulfield finds that Rachel Amber, a fellow senior at school, has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. In hopes of discovering the truth, Caulfield will reunite with an old friend, Chloe, while players will get to take advantage of Max’s ability to rewind time in order to discover why Rachel has disappeared.

According to Square Enix, each and every texture in Life is Strange will be a hand drawn work of art and every action in the game causes a butterfly effect. But remember, Max has the power to rewind time so changes made in the game could have interesting effects.

Life is Strange will be heading to the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in the near future.
