Sony has released the launch trailer for Killzone Shadow Fall, which is set 30 years after the events of the Killzone trilogy. Killzone Shadow Fall is a release title for the Sony PlayStation 4, and some retailers have already begun shipping pre-orders to customers. Killzone Shadow Fall is developed by Guerilla Games and is actually the sixth game in the entire Killzone series but the fourth for home consoles.

Players diving into Killzone Shadow Fall when the PS4 launches on November 15 will see a very different world than what they’re used to from the original Killzone trilogy. Forced together by circumstance, the rival factions of the Helghast and the Vektans now live side-by-side in a futuristic city divided by a vast wall. Both factions are essentially engaged in a “Cold War” with the Helghast fighting for their right to exist while the Vektans are fighting for survival.

The story of Killzone Shadow Fall will be played through the perspective of Lucas Kellan, an agent of the elite ISA special forces branch known as the Shadow Marshals.
