Frontier Developments has released the Jurassic World Evolution 3: Rebirth Expansion, a new add-on for its dinosaur park-builder, out now on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for $24.99 / £19.99 / €24.99. Made in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, the expansion is set before the events of the film Jurassic World Rebirth and brings four new species seen on screen, an original campaign, and almost 400 new scenery pieces.

The campaign sends Site Managers to three top-secret InGen locations around Île Saint-Hubert: the Main Facility, Ancient Valley, and Riverside Lab. These sites bring geothermal power and shared cash to the series for the first time, with the geothermal output upgradeable across the whole island. There’s also a new open-air aviary built to contain even the trickiest escape artists, like the Mutadon, with raised flying height and no visual obstruction.

Headlining the additions are four new species: the Mutadon, the Aquilops, the Titanosaurus, and the Distortus rex. They’re joined by movie-accurate models and skins for returning dinosaurs, including the T. rex, Spinosaurus, Mosasaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Dilophosaurus, and Velociraptor. The expansion also adds seven new experimental traits, which cost more to implement but apply unique modifiers to your dinosaurs, along with a new Assignments system that lets you focus on priority assignments to advance the story or take on optional ones that unlock genomes, traits, and research.

Releasing alongside the expansion is the free Update 1.3, available to everyone who owns Jurassic World Evolution 3. It includes T. rex semi-aquatic behaviour, the Cretaceous Cruise in aviaries, the return of Cearadactylus from Jurassic World Evolution 2 as a family unit, handheld flares for ranger vehicles, new drone additions, and more.

If you don’t already own it, Jurassic World Evolution 3 is available now on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC, with the standard edition at $59.99 / £49.99 / €59.99 and the Deluxe Edition at $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99.
