One of the most popular indie games on Steam currently is Hotline Miami, a retro top-down action game set in an alternative 1989 Miami. Recently on sale during the Steam Summer Sale, mobile gamers have been wondering if Hotline Miami will ever make the transition to iOS or Android mobile gaming platforms. Well, the answer from developer Dennaton Games was pretty definitive as Hotline Miami‘s official Twitter account said, “Nope. Controls would suck.”

Those that have had the opportunity to try out Hotline Miami will know just how important controller precision is to the game. And for those that haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, we highly recommend you do so. At the Steam Summer Sale bargain price of $2.49, Hotline Miami was a complete steal. But even at its regular price of $9.99, you’ll get hours of entertainment for your hard-earned cash.

Hotline Miami is currently available on Steam for $9.99.
