A day after locking in its July 28 release date at the XBOX Games Showcase, Halo: Campaign Evolved is back with a cinematic story trailer. Halo Studios released it today, running through the setup of the original campaign as the ground-up remake of Halo: Combat Evolved heads toward launch.

The trailer lands alongside a closer look at the game’s preorder cosmetics, a batch of new Master Chief skins ranging from the nostalgic 2001 Mark V armor to a full mech makeover, split between preorder bonuses and the Alpha Halo Armory Pack in the Premium and Collector’s Editions. They all unlock at launch. As a reminder, the remake bundles the original 10-mission campaign with the new Operation: METEORITE prequel and lands day one on XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with preorders open now across PlayStation, XBOX, and PC via Steam.

It’s also the first time the Master Chief’s debut adventure will be playable on PlayStation 5, with full cross-play and cross-progression linking it up with XBOX Series X|S and PC in the same four-player co-op campaign.
