Creepy Jar is celebrating a big milestone today. The studio announced that Green Hell, its Amazon rainforest crafting survival game, has now sold over 12 million copies across all platforms, alongside a new thank you trailer for the community. We really enjoyed our time with Green Hell over the years, and the consistent post-launch support from Creepy Jar has only deepened our respect for the team.
Green Hell’s journey began in 2016 with a five-person team building the original prototype. Since the game’s 1.0 launch in 2019, Creepy Jar has shipped 21 free updates, adding onto that ayahuasca-filled adventure in creepy and creative ways. We’re huge fans of what Creepy Jar does, especially after spending time with StarRupture, the team’s factory base building game that entered Steam Early Access in January.
Green Hell is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
