After years of speculation and much anticipation, Rockstar Games has finally provided an official update on Grand Theft Auto VI. In a recent post on its website, Sam Houser confirmed that Rockstar Games is set to release the first trailer for the next installment of Grand Theft Auto in early December. It’s an announcement for an announcement, but fans of the series finally have something to look forward to.
Speculation suggests that Grand Theft Auto VI will introduce the series’ first female protagonist and be set in a fictionalized version of Miami. It follows up on the immensely successful Grand Theft Auto V, which recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary and has sold over 185 million units since its launch.
Next month marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games.

In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.
We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto.
