Normally, monthly Game Pass additions are split into two waves. For December, however, we’ll only be getting one set of titles, many of which are joining the Game Pass Premium tier. Things start off today with the addition of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. As a huge fan of the original Life is Strange, I was eager to check out Lost Records: Bloom & Rage when it launched earlier this year. I found the first tape intriguing and entertaining, but the conclusion of the story was a real letdown, at least for me. I think it’s worth a playthrough if you’re a fan of narrative-driven games.

Tomorrow, December 3, we’ll see two titles head to Game Pass Premium. The first is one of my favorites of the year, Monster Train 2 on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. This roguelite deckbuilder sequel successfully builds on its predecessor in all the right ways, expanding mechanics and gameplay to deliver dozens more hours of fun. The other title is Spray Paint Simulator on Cloud, Console, and PC, which lets players build their own painting business from the ground up. You can paint everything imaginable, from rooms to cars and bridges to robots. Spray Paint Simulator offers a Story Mode and Free Spray Mode that you can play alone or with a friend.

On December 4, Game Pass Premium gets another two titles. The first is 33 Immortals, which is currently in Game Preview on Cloud, Console, and PC. It’s a co-op action-roguelike designed for 33 players with instant pick-up and raid matchmaking. The second title on December 4 is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Launched last year, this first-person single-player adventure game takes place between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, with Indy traveling around the world to stop an organization trying to uncover the secret to an ancient power connected to the Great Circle.

Also joining Game Pass on December 4 is Routine on Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC. It’ll be available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers as a day one release. This first-person sci-fi horror game is set on an abandoned lunar base that has been designed around an ’80s vision of the future. If horror isn’t your jam, there’s A Game About Digging A Hole heading to Cloud, Handheld, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on December 9. Available to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers, this is a minimalist game about digging a hole in a garden. Players collect resources, sell them, and upgrade their equipment, all while trying to discover a mysterious secret.

Joining A Game About Digging A Hole on December 9 is Death Howl, a day one release with Game Pass on Handheld and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. This soulslike deck builder features over 160 cards and 30 enemy types, with grid-based combat as players journey to the spirit realm. For me, Death Howl is the most interesting title in this month’s lineup, and there’s currently a demo on Steam if you want to see what it’s all about ahead of its launch.

A third title on December 9 is Dome Keeper, heading to Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. This roguelike action miner game has players defending against waves of alien monsters while digging for resources, collecting gadgets, and upgrading equipment. It might sound like Deep Rock Galactic, but it’s a very different style of game.

Fighting game fans can get their hands on Mortal Kombat 1 on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on December 10. The latest entry in the long-running franchise is a soft reboot, bringing about a new era with a new fighting system, game modes, and, of course, fatalities. Mortal Kombat 1 will be available to Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers.

The final title announced today is Bratz: Rhythm & Style on Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. Available starting on December 11, Bratz: Rhythm & Style lets players rule the runway and take the stage with the Bratz Pack.
