Faster Than Light (FTL) Advanced Edition is now available as a free expansion on Steam, while the company has also released the game on the iPad. FTL iPad includes all of the new Advanced Edition content, which features a new alien race along with new events, weapons, playable ships, drones and more. The free expansion also adds additional musical tracks by Ben Prunty and events by Tom Jubert and guest writer Chris Avellone.
FTL iPad is available on the Apple iTunes Store for $9.99, though purchases made on the PC version cannot be transferred or redeemed on the iPad.
The top-down, roguelike real-time strategy game was originally released on September 14, 2012 for the PC, Mac and Linux.
