Square Enix has released a trio of Final Fantasy trailers from Tokyo Game Show 2013, shining the spotlight on Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD, Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XV.

Unfortunately, as expected, nothing new has been announced on Final Fantasy XV – in fact, the trailer Square Enix Japan released is pretty much the same as the E3 trailer other than the morphing of the logo from Final Fantasy Versus XIII to Final Fantasy XV.

The new Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII trailer unveils more of Lightning’s mission in the upcoming game, which will be released on February 11, 2014 in North America for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The newest trailer has Yeul’s voice telling Lightning to help free Caius, the main antagonist from Final Fantasy XIII-2. It’s starting to feel like Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is going to be a huge game with a merging of several story lines into one. Lightning will have to deal with Snow, Noel and Caius in a game that will hopefully live up to expectations.

Lastly, Square Enix still won’t announce a release date for Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD but has now promised that it’ll be coming winter 2014. The Tokyo Game Show 2013 trailer for Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD shows off some of the most famous moments from both games.
