The Triple-i Initiative held its third showcase today, highlighting 40 games from independent developers around the world. The show featured major new game reveals, DLC announcements, release dates and shadow drops. Demos and playtests for over a dozen games from the showcase are available on Steam through April 16. You can watch the full showcase on YouTube.

Here’s a roundup of everything that was announced.

The developers of CrossCode are back with Alabaster Dawn, an action RPG featuring deep combat, challenging puzzles and an epic story about an outcast chosen who must restore a world warped into a wasteland. It’s coming to Early Access on May 7. Watch the trailer.

Alkahest got its first gameplay reveal, showing off physical, grounded combat with destructible environments, systemic physics and alchemy-based mechanics. Watch the trailer.

Klei Entertainment showed two games at the showcase. First up, Away Team revealed that multiplayer is in development. A closed singleplayer playtest on Steam was also announced. Watch the trailer.

A new expansion is on the way for Barotrauma. Home & Harbor introduces outpost ownership, building and management along with a new faction called The Descendants. It’s coming in fall 2026. Watch the trailer.

Mecha and mutant dinosaurs are heading to Brotato in the Primal Dread DLC, coming in summer 2026. Watch the trailer.

The critically acclaimed survival climber Cairn announced On the Trail, a free DLC series. The first entry, Deep Water, introduces water soloing and three new climbing areas, arriving in summer 2026. Watch the trailer.

New commented gameplay debuted for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, the 2D action-exploration game set in Paris in 1499. Developed by Konami and Evil Empire with advisory support from Motion Twin, the game is set for 2026. Watch the trailer.

The slot-machine roguelite CloverPit shadow dropped its first DLC, Unholy Fusion, which adds a Surgery Machine for fusing charms, 30 unique fusions and new memory cards. A free 1.4 update with online leaderboards also launched for all players. Watch the trailer.

From 11 bit studios comes Crop, a gritty farming thriller where you’ve been abducted and bound to a dying farm. You must dig, plant and harvest your way out while solving the mystery of your captors. Watch the trailer.

Martial arts meets music video in Dead As Disco, a neon-drenched beat ’em up where combat syncs to the music. It’s coming to Early Access on May 5. Watch the trailer.

Klei’s second reveal was the big one. Don’t Starve Elsewhere is an all-new survival experience in the Don’t Starve franchise, featuring a multi-tiered wilderness with new biomes, co-op and a mysterious Fog mechanic. Watch the trailer.

A free update is on the way for Everwind. The First Ascent brings new challenges, enemies, customization and gear in May 2026. Watch the trailer.

Launching into Early Access on April 28, Far Far West is a chaotic 1-4 player co-op horde shooter set in a spooky western setting with no live service, no season pass and no microtransactions. Watch the trailer.

One of the more unique reveals at the showcase, Final Sentence is a battle royale typing game where every typo pulls the trigger of a revolver pointed at your head. It supports lobbies of up to 40 players and shadow dropped during the show. Watch the trailer.

Frostrail is a survival FPS set in a frozen wasteland where you operate and upgrade a steam-powered train. Its first playtest begins April 16. Watch the trailer.

The cult-favorite crafting RPG is getting a sequel. Graveyard Keeper 2 expands the formula with a zombie-infested town, supply chains and undead expeditions. It’s coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Switch and Switch 2. To celebrate, the original Graveyard Keeper is free for a limited time on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Watch the trailer.

Set decades after an outbreak, Long Gone is an atmospheric 3D pixel narrative adventure where you explore an abandoned suburban neighborhood with a cat companion. It’s coming in 2027. Watch the trailer.

The 2D beat ’em up roguelite Lost Castle 2 announced its 1.0 release date of June 11. Watch the trailer.

Quota horror gets a 2D makeover with Lost Railway, a co-op game where you scavenge abandoned train stations while fulfilling a quota to keep your train moving. Screaming is a mechanic. Watch the trailer.

From the creator of Buckshot Roulette comes Machine Party, a collection of violent party games where failure is lethal. It’s launching in summer 2026. Watch the trailer.

Co-directed by the pixel artist of Celeste and featuring music by Disasterpeace, Neverway is a nightmarish life sim RPG about a woman who quits her job, starts a farm and becomes the immortal herald of a dead god. A free prologue is available now on Steam, with the full game launching on PC and Switch in October 2026. Watch the trailer.

An off-road exploration game about the quiet thrill of getting lost, over the hill revealed its new Algeria biome and announced a closed playtest running April 24-26. Watch the trailer.

The creators of the Peabody award-winning 1000xRESIST revealed their next game. Prove You’re Human is a sci-fi narrative adventure published by the creators of Slay the Princess, in which you split your consciousness in two and must convince an AI named Mesa that she isn’t human. An official Undertale music pack is now available for Rift of the Necrodancer, letting players battle through rhythm rifts set to one of gaming’s most iconic soundtracks. Watch the trailer.

New DLC is on the way for Risk of Rain 2. Hallowed Concepts takes players deeper into the dark, cult-like world of N’Kuhana with new regions, enemies and powers. Watch the trailer.

Build and expand your home as you seek to rebuild Rome in Romestead, a survival town-builder coming to Early Access on May 26. Watch the trailer.

Running a gas station gets deadly in Shift at Midnight, an online co-op detective horror for one to three players where you interrogate customers to identify doppelgangers. It launches May 28. Watch the trailer.

Sledding Game is a multiplayer hangout game with ragdoll physics, proximity chat and cozy minigames like ice fishing and snowman building. It launches into Early Access on April 30. Watch the trailer.

After more than four years of development and over one million wishlists on Steam, Solarpunk finally has a release date. The calm survival game set on floating islands launches June 8 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Switch 2. Watch the trailer.

Explore a vast galaxy, design ships and automate planetary logistics in SpaceCraft, an online space exploration and building game coming to Early Access on May 20. Watch the trailer.

Renovate a massive Soviet-inspired research facility in The Lift, a story-driven handyman simulator coming to Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2027. Watch the trailer.

Led by legendary designer Warren Spector, Thick as Thieves is a stealth-action heist game set in an alternate-history 1910s Scottish city. It launches May 20. Watch the trailer.
