Now in its third year, the Triple-i Initiative has quickly become one of the best indie showcases on the gaming calendar. Run by Evil Empire, the developers behind Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, The Rogue Prince of Persia, and maintaining Brotato, the indie-focused event sticks to a simple formula: no ads, no sponsors, no hosts, just games. The 2026 edition airs on April 9 at 9:00 AM Pacific (12:00 PM Eastern) with 45 minutes of back-to-back trailers covering over 40 games.

Previous showcases were home to the reveals of Slay the Spire 2 and Katana ZERO’s free DLC, along with updates on titles like Vampire Survivors, Risk of Rain 2, and No, I’m not a Human. This year’s show is shaping up to be the biggest yet, with eight exclusive world premieres alongside updates on games like Windrose, Dead as Disco, Risk of Rain 2, Alkahest, and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. Confirmed publishers making appearances include Klei Entertainment, TinyBuild, and Devolver Digital.

Viewers can catch the showcase on YouTube, Twitch, Bilibili, and Steam, with IGN co-streaming. There will also be post-show deep dives on some of the featured titles for those who want more than 45 minutes of indie goodness.
