While The Elder Scrolls VI is nowhere to be seen following an announcement teaser from 2018, Bethesda is still finding ways to re-release The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. At this point, it really has become a meme because of how often Skyrim has been released. This time around, it’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2. Those who already own the Anniversary Edition on the original Switch can download the game for free on the Switch 2. If you own the base edition, you can purchase the Anniversary Upgrade.

This version of the game includes the entire Skyrim experience and the three official expansions: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. The game has been enhanced for the Nintendo Switch 2 with better resolution, DLSS anti-aliasing, quicker load times, mouse control support, motion controls, amiibo support, and optimized performance. It also includes access to hundreds of Creation Club items. To celebrate the Switch 2 version, there are iconic pieces of in-game gear inspired by The Legend of Zelda, including the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, and Champion’s Tunic.

The full Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 costs $59.99, while the upgrade is $19.99.
