Batman: Arkham Origins has revealed its multiplayer component in the form of a video trailer, which you can view below. Sadly, Wii U owners won’t be able to enjoy the multiplayer aspect of the game as publisher Warner Bros. has confirmed that it will only be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The multiplayer, which is being developed by UK-based studio Splash Damage, will allow players to assume the role of Batman, Robin, or an Elite Member of The Joker or Bane’s Gang.

The decision to exclude Wii U gamers from the multiplayer component is another blow to Nintendo’s console, which continues to struggle in sales. Nintendo however, has several first-party titles planned, which has always been Nintendo’s strong suit. The Wii U has sold 3.61-million units worldwide but sold a mere 160,000 units globally in the three months ending on June 2013.

Batman: Arkham Origins will be released on October 25, 2013 worldwide for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, and PC.
