The official Twitter page for Batman: Arkham Origins has confirmed that open beta invites are being rolled out for the Batman: Arkham Origins multiplayer. The open beta trial period will run from August 7 through August 14 and Warner Bros. has begun sending out invites today.
The Batman: Arkham Origins multiplayer is being developed by Splash Damage and won’t be available on the Nintendo Wii U. It will be heading to the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 only – Wii U owners will have to live with just the single player campaign.
Those entering the world of Batman: Arkham Origins‘ multiplayer will be able to play as Robin, Batman, or an Elite solder from Joker or Bane’s gang. Playing as an Elite solder will allow you to customize your loadout and look to suit your style of play, and to help turn the tide, your leader can be brought in to play as Joker or Bane.
