As promised, one of our favorite games of the year, Ball x Pit, is getting free content. The Regal Update is coming next week on January 26 as the game’s first major update. It’ll add two new characters to the game, along with new balls, new passives, and some new features players have been begging for since launch. To start though, the two new treasure seekers are The Carouser and The Falconer. The Carouser’s special trait is that returning balls orbit around him, while The Falconer is flanked by her two trusted falcons that throw balls.
The team is keeping quiet about the eight new balls and passives that will be part of the update. They’re also teasing a nice surprise they don’t want to spoil just yet, but they feel confident the community is going to love it. All I know is that any more content for Ball x Pit is something we look forward to. Several of us here at FullCleared were enamored by this game for weeks after it launched. In my Ball x Pit review, I called it an extremely well-designed game that’s focused on delivering instant dopamine hits that gamers have come to crave.
