Koei Tecmo Games casually revealed a new mainline Atelier game at the latest Nintendo Direct: Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, the second entry in the series’ Memories subseries, following last year’s Atelier Yumia.

A direct sequel to Atelier Yumia, the game returns to the world of Aladiss and follows a new protagonist named Karia, who has lost her memories and knows little beyond her own name as she confronts her past. Its teaser points to a mysterious realm hidden deep below Aladiss, asking what discoveries and revelations await her there.

Details are still light ahead of a livestream set for June 12, but the alchemy RPG looks to carry over Atelier Yumia’s open-world exploration and action-oriented combat. Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories is set to launch worldwide in early 2027 on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, and it is available to wishlist now.
