Preorders for Phantom Blade Zero open August 11 at 7:00 PM Pacific (10:00 PM Eastern), which is August 12 at 10:00 AM Beijing time, arriving alongside an all-new 11-minute trailer. S-GAME confirmed the news in a 30-second teaser, and buried the bigger headline in the details: development on Phantom Blade Zero is now complete.
That milestone lands almost twelve weeks ahead of the October 29 launch, a comfortable margin for a studio that delayed the game from September 9 back in June specifically to buy more polish time. As I wrote when covering that delay, Phantom Blade Zero has been one of the most anticipated action games on the radar since its 2023 reveal. The June announcement promised preorders this summer alongside a trailer built from fresh in-game footage, and next week’s drop delivers on both.
Preorders will open on the PlayStation Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, covering the game’s PlayStation 5 and PC launch platforms. The 11-minute trailer is set to feature new story content, characters, and combat, plus what S-GAME is only calling “something unexpected.”
One more beat should still be coming after next week. When the delay was announced, S-GAME also outlined a dedicated State of Play deep dive running 15 to 20 minutes, covering the world, combat, exploration, and character progression, and that showcase hasn’t been dated yet.
