PlayStation has revealed the 007 First Light Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller, a golden controller inspired by James Bond’s iconic codename and weapon. It features a golden sheen, a radiant barrel design, and Bond’s signature framing on the touchpad. It’s a pretty good looking controller that fits the theme for the upcoming 007 First Light game.

Preorders for the controller begin on April 17 at 7:00 AM Pacific (10:00 AM Eastern) at direct.playstation.com in the U.S., and at 10:00 AM local time in the U.K. and select European countries. The controller is priced at $84.99 and will be available in limited quantities globally through participating retailers as well. Free launch day delivery is available for eligible preorders placed through PlayStation Direct.

The controller launches on May 27 alongside 007 First Light on PlayStation 5, the third-person action-adventure game from IO Interactive. In the game, players take on the role of a young Bond at the very beginning of his journey, navigating a world of global intrigue and earning his codename in a standalone, reimagined origin story. The DualSense’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback should pair well with the game’s gunfights and set pieces.

It’s been over 13 years since James Bond has had a proper video game, so it’s fitting that PlayStation is going all out with a limited edition controller to mark his return. Between IO Interactive’s pedigree with the Hitman series and the attention being put into the marketing, 007 First Light is shaping up to be one of the bigger releases this year.
