This year has been a bit of a mixed bag for video game adaptations. We got the excellent Fallout series on Prime Video, but then the Borderlands movie was pretty much a disaster, and Halo got canceled. Yesterday, we got our first look at A Minecraft Movie, and the reception hasn’t been great. Thankfully, Netflix has helped wash away the bad taste with a new trailer for Arcane Season 2. Although it was a long wait, it’s good to see that Fortiche Animation didn’t skip a beat. In fact, Season 2 looks even better than Season 1.
The Arcane series tells the story of Vi and Jinx, two sisters from the League of Legends franchise. Unfortunately, the second season will be the finale, but more League of Legends content is on the way, as the team is already working on new projects across television and film. Arcane Season 2 is set to go live on Netflix sometime in November.
