The first season of Arcane took many by surprise, not just for its style and quality, but for its stellar writing and storytelling. The series even managed to capture the attention of non-gamers; however, the arrival of season 2 will be bittersweet. This is because the official teaser trailer for Arcane season 2 confirms it’s the show’s final chapter. The good news is that this is just the beginning for League of Legends adaptations.

In a dev update, Arcane co-creator Christian Linke confirmed the team is currently working on their next projects across television and film, and they’re hopeful that they can share more by the end of the year. This means that even though the story of Vi and Jinx is coming to an end, we’ll be getting a lot more League of Legends content in the coming years as they try to shine the spotlight on other characters in the franchise.

As for Arcane season 2, the teaser trailer confirms Vi and Jinx will face off since their story is the foundation of Arcane. The trailer also shows other familiar faces, including Caitlyn, Ekko, and Heimerdinger. It’ll likely be a season of conflict as Zaun and Piltover collide, following the events of season 1. Arcane season 2 will stream on Netflix sometime this November.
