StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void Pre-Order Now Available

Blizzard has opened pre-orders for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, the standalone conclusion to the StarCraft II trilogy. Although no definitive release date for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void has been announced, Blizzard does promise that it’ll launch by winter and those that pre-order will gain access to the ongoing Legacy of the Void beta test. Gamers opting to pre-order through Battle.net will get immediate access in beta to all three “Whispers of Oblivion” prologue missions, featuring Dark Templar Zeratul.

Legacy of the Void will be available in physical and digital versions with the Standard Edition priced at $39.99. There is also a Digital Deluxe Edition available for $59.99 and includes: an Action battle pet for World of Warcraft, Void Seeker mount for Heroes of the Storm, Protoss card back for Hearthstone and Protoss-themed portraits and unit skin for StarCraft II. Lastly, those that like to collect physical Collector’s Editions will get a box that includes all the Digital Deluxe Edition goodies as well as a special edition of the upcoming full-color hardcover StarCraft Field Manual, a DVD loaded with cinematics and special features, as well as a CD soundtrack. Pricing for the physical Collector’s Edition was not announced.

Also, anyone purchasing Legacy of the Void will gain access to an upcoming, yet-to-be-revealed StarCraft Warrior Hero for Heroes of the Storm.
