The Lord of the Rings Online: Helm’s Deep expansion will be available on November 18, 2013. Players can pre-purchase the expansion to the free-to-play MMORPG developed by Turbine.
Helm’s Deep will continue the story into the western plains of Rohan, where players will be able to join the legendary battle for Helm’s Deep while advancing to the new level cap of 95. Players will be able to fight to defend Helm’s Deep starting as early as level 10, where their character can enlist as a soldier in the Battle of the Hornburg. Players will be able to earn rewards for their contribution to the war effort.
Pre-order bonuses were also announced for the expansion’s two editions: base and premium. The base edition will have a retail price of $39.99 and will include:
- Hauberk of the Hammerhand – an exclusive Rohirrim cosmetic chest piece
- Helm’s Deep Title: Helm’s Enforcer
- 1000 Turbine points
The premium edition will retail for $59.99 and includes:
- Armour of the Hammerhand – an exclusive full set of Rohirrim cosmetic armour
- +10 quest log slots
- Crystal of Remembrance – adds one additional legacy to your legendary weapon
- Helm’s Deep Title – Helm’s Enforcer
- Helm’s Deep Title – Helm’s Avenger
- 2000 Turbine points
In addition, pre ordering will immediately grant you the following items to use in the game:
- Token of Hornburg (+25% Monster XP)
- The Steed of the Hammerhand – an exclusive Rohirrim Mount
