Xbox Insiders can now begin testing a set of improvements to Achievements that have been among the most requested features from the community. The updates include a visual refresh, the ability to hide games from your Achievement list, and a new way to highlight 100 percent completed games. These features will roll out to more Insiders over time before becoming available to all players.

The visual refresh updates achievement notifications with new icons and animations for both classic and rare unlocks. Notifications will also match your custom color, adding a personal touch to each unlock. It’s a small change, but it makes the moment-to-moment experience of earning Achievements feel a bit more polished.

The bigger deal for a lot of players will be the ability to hide games from your Achievement history, which is coming later this month. This has been one of the most requested features from the Xbox Insider community, and it lets players clean up their profile by removing games they don’t want displayed. Hidden games will still count toward your total Gamerscore and activity will still be tracked, so it’s purely a cosmetic change for how your profile appears to others.

On top of that, games where you’ve earned all available Gamerscore will now be highlighted in your Achievements list, making it easy to spot your full completions at a glance. New filter options have been added as well, so you can quickly sort between completed titles and hidden ones. Xbox says this is the first step in a broader set of improvements aimed at recognizing completion and milestone moments.

Those interested in testing these features can join the Xbox Insider Program by downloading the Xbox Insider Hub on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or PC.
