Xbox 360 users will be able to enjoy all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold for free starting on October 4 through October 6. The promotion comes just in time for those wanting to check out Grand Theft Auto Online on the Xbox 360 that don’t currently have an Xbox Live Gold membership.

Not all regions will be able to enjoy the free benefits on October 4 however, as it will be limited to participating regions – though the list is the vast majority:

  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Greece
  • Hong Kong
  • Hungary
  • India
  • Ireland

  • South Africa
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Singapore
  • Slovakia
  • South Korea

  • Vietnam

Xbox 360 players in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico will have to wait until October 11-14 to enjoy free Xbox Live Gold while Japan gamers will have to wait until November 7-10.
