Microsoft has revealed the second wave of games heading to Xbox Game Pass in January 2024. Starting from today, Those Who Remain is now accessible on Cloud, Console, and PC. This first-person, psychological thriller is a story-driven game that takes place in the town of Dormont. On January 18, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank (Cloud, Console, and PC) and F1 23 (Console and PC via EA Play) will be added to the lineup. In the former, Turnip Boy joins forces with the Pickled Gang to rob the Botanical Bank’s vaults. In contrast, the latter invites players to test their driving skills and assemble their dream team in the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship’s official video game.
On January 19, Palworld is a day one title on Cloud, Console, and PC. This open-world adventure merges Pokémon-style gameplay with crafting and survival mechanics, developed by the creators of Craftopia. January 25 sees the launch of Go Mecha Ball on Cloud, Console, and PC as another day one title. This twin-stick shooter combines roguelike progression, arcade-style levels, and pinball physics. One of our favorite games to play on the Steam Deck, Brotato, will be available starting January 30 on Cloud, Console, and PC. This top-down roguelite arena shooter, inspired partly by Vampire Survivors, stands out with its unique features.
We also get a small preview of early February games, starting with the highly-anticipated Persona 3 Reload for Cloud, Console, and PC on February 2. Also a day one release, this remake brings my personal favorite Persona game to a new generation. Lastly, there’s Anuchard (Cloud, Console, and PC), available on February 6. In this game, players take on the role of The Bellwielder of the magical Audros Bell, in the aftermath of Anuchard kingdom’s fall.
On January 31, only one game will be leaving Game Pass: Hitman: World of Assassination, available on Cloud, Console, and PC.
