Xbox isn’t just celebrating its 25th anniversary at the Games Showcase in June. The company announced that Xbox FanFest is going on a worldwide tour throughout 2026, bringing in-person events to eight cities across the globe.
Following the Los Angeles FanFest tied to the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, events will also take place in Cologne, London, Mexico City, Seattle, Sydney, Tokyo, and Toronto, with more locations to be announced. Each event will be unique to its location, celebrating the local Xbox community with opportunities for players to connect with one another and with the developers behind their favorite games.
Xbox says it wants fans to be there and is encouraging players to keep an eye on the FanFest website for information on how to secure a spot at their local event. For the Los Angeles event specifically, U.S. residents 18 and older can enter for a chance to win free tickets now through April 12. Travel and lodging are not provided.
This is the biggest FanFest effort Xbox has put together, which makes sense given the milestone anniversary. FanFest events in the past have included watch parties, trivia livestreams, and in-person gatherings at Gamescom, but a dedicated global tour across this many cities is new territory.
