The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD release date has been set for October 4, 2013, heading exclusively to the Nintendo Wii U console. Earlier, Nintendo sent out a press release on its Symphony of the Goddess concert, and nestled within the statement was: “To celebrate the launch of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Wii U on Oct. 4, Nintendo is adding some extra magic to the Seattle stop of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess concert tour.”
For those that don’t have a Nintendo Wii U console yet, you may want to keep your eye out on the Wind Waker HD special bundle that should be releasing at the same time as the game.
The HD remake for The Wind Waker will include faster sailing with Swift Sail, a shortened Triforce Quest, and the option to play a more challenging Hero Mode from the second you pop in the game.
