The Wii Mini has been confirmed for North America and will be available for $99 starting in mid-November. The Wii Mini system will also come with a red Wii Remote and Nunchuk, in addition to a copy of Mario Kart Wii. Unfortunately, for those that haven’t followed the Wii Mini’s release in other markets, the system doesn’t have any online functionality.
Essentially a scaled-down version of Nintendo’s best-selling system, the Wii Mini also removes the support for component AV connections. It was originally announced in November 2012 as an exclusive to Canada and Nintendo has sold 35,700 units in Canada in its first two months. It then headed to the UK in March.
