Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 is just around the corner, broadcasting from Cologne, Germany, on August 19 at 11:00 AM Pacific (2:00 PM Eastern). Host Geoff Keighley will be joined by Sjokz to share the latest from the world of gaming. So far, Keighley has confirmed seven titles that will be showcased during Opening Night Live: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Resident Evil Requiem, Ghost of Yōtei, Ninja Gaiden 4, The Outer Worlds 2, Silent Hill f, and World of Warcraft: Midnight. Obviously, those aren’t the only games that will be present during the show. We can expect dozens of new announcements and trailers. Keighley also confirmed that we’ll get a new look at Prime Video’s Fallout Season 2 and a musical performance from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

As usual, there will be a 30-minute pre-show starting at 10:30 AM Pacific (1:30 PM Eastern), and Opening Night Live will run for roughly two hours.

Other games previously confirmed for Gamescom 2025 include Lords of the Fallen 2 and The Outer Worlds 2. Xbox also announced that a new demo of Hollow Knight: Silksong will be playable, so hopefully we’ll finally get a release date for the highly anticipated title.
