Sony has announced that State of Play is returning tomorrow, February 12, at 2:00pm Pacific (5:00pm Eastern). This time, the broadcast will be a show lasting over 40 minutes, sharing news and updates on games coming to the PlayStation 5. Sony says we can expect a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world. The lengthy runtime suggests that we should expect a surprise or two. The last State of Play featured the announcement for Ghost of Yōtei, so we wouldn’t be surprised if we got another look at Sucker Punch’s next title.

What else should we expect? Well, Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater’s release date will likely become official after a premature leak last week. Hideo Kojima has been teasing a new trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, so perhaps we’ll also receive a release date for that. While we generally do not enjoy reporting on unsubstantiated rumors, the internet is buzzing about a God of War remaster trilogy. Of course, here’s hoping we hear any Bloodborne-related news since the game is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
