Looks like poncle is putting its Vampire Survivors formula to work on a licensed anime: the studio and publisher Shueisha Games revealed Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton at the latest Nintendo Direct, a survivors royale set in the world of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen. This isn’t the only survivors-like poncle has a hand in this year, either, with Warhammer Survivors, a collaboration with Auroch Digital, also due out in 2026.
Players take on the role of Jujutsu Kaisen characters and battle wave after wave of cursed spirits while competing against up to seven rivals in online matches that support up to eight players. The controls are simple and movement-based with automatic attacks, so success comes down to positioning and timing. You earn points by defeating enemies, unlock game-changing Rule Additions every 100 points, and climb dynamic rankings, with each match building toward a final duel between the top two players.
The roster features more than 20 playable characters from the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, each able to call on iconic techniques like Domain Expansion and Black Flash, all rendered in poncle’s signature pixel-art style. Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton is set to launch in 2026 on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with a single-player mode included alongside the online multiplayer.
