In a bit of a surprise announcement, Square Enix’s tactical RPG Triangle Strategy is launching on Meta Quest on October 31, 2024. Owners of Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 can preorder the game with a limited-time 13 percent discount. On Meta Quest, the game offers 360-degree 3D movement on the battlefield, allowing players to precisely position characters for a more immersive experience. The game also supports the Passthrough feature on Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S, allowing players to blend the game’s environment with real-world surroundings.

Triangle Strategy was originally released in March 2022 on Nintendo Switch and later on PC in October 2022, developed by the team behind Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default. The tactical RPG puts players in control of determining the fate of three kingdoms in conflict: Glenbrook, Aesfrost, and Hyzante. Players take on the role of protagonist Serenoa Wolffort, accompanied by childhood friend Prince Roland, fiancée Princess Frederica Aesfrost, and House Wolffort’s steward, Benedict.
