Triad Wars has been announced by United Front Games, a successor to Sleeping Dogs that is set in the same world. The online open-world action game will be heading to the PC, though it’s unclear if it’ll be exclusive or if the company plans on sending it to the PlayStation 4 and/or Xbox One in the near future. According to a post on the game’s website by community manager James Baldwin, Triad Wars will be set in Hong Kong and the player’s goal will be to rise to power as a criminal kingpin of the Triad underworld. Players will get to establish a Turf while setting up a range of lucrative and questionable operations to build and expand their reach into the underworld. Combat will also be a central part of the game as well as driving, hacking and money laundering.
Triad Wars will be launching on the PC in early 2015 and you can register now for the closed beta.
