Xseed has confirmed that The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC (Second Chapter) will be heading to the PC and the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) sometime next year. In addition, the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky will be available on the PC this winter, so those that haven’t had a chance to experience the first instalment of the series will have an opportunity to do so before Trails in the Sky SC is released.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky was originally published by Xseed for the Sony PSP on March 29, 2011 in North America. The game was also made available on the PC, but in Japan only. Responsible for making the localization and translation happen for the sequel is Carpe Fulgur.

The story in The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC will pick up immediately after the conclusion of the first game. Those that have missed out on the PSP JRPG should really check it out. It’s a superb game and we can’t wait for the sequel to be released.

“We are pleased to finally give the fans what they have been requesting so fervently for over two years,” said Ken Berry, Executive Vice President of Xseed. “There’s been a constant demand ever since we released the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, and we are extremely grateful for our partnership with the passionate localizers at Carpe Fulgur to finally make it a reality.”
