Indie developer Asylum Square is set to release Tiny Thor, a 16-bit pixel platformer that features 30 unique, hand-crafted levels. Published by Gameforge under its IndieForge publishing label, Tiny Thor has players exploring the Norse realm of Asgard, who will face tricky environmental puzzles and familiar adversaries including Kraken and Loki. As this is Tiny Thor, he’ll use a mini-Mjölnir, which players can freely aim in combat. Of course, no game would be complete without special abilities that can be unlocked for Tiny Thor.

The 16-bit platformer features art from veteran pixel artist Henk Nieborg (Spyro: A Hero’s Tail, Contra 4, Shantae series), along with an original soundtrack from Chris Hülsbeck (Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Turrican).

Tiny Thor will be available on PC starting June 5 with a $19.99 price tag. The Tiny Thor Ragnarok n’ Roll Edition, which includes the game and the official soundtrack, will cost an even $25. Both versions will be offered at a 10% discount during the first week of their launch. Asylum Square also confirmed a Nintendo Switch release for Tiny Thor later this summer, but did not provide a specific release date.
