Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call has been made official through a print publication in Japan. It will be released in spring 2014 in Japan for the Nintendo 2DS and 3DS, and will likely make its way to America since the original Theatrhythm Final Fantasy sold relatively well in the U.S.

The game will boast over 200 songs, including tracks from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and the upcoming Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. This time around, there will be over 60 characters and a multiplayer versus battle mode.

The original Theatrhythm Final Fantasy was released in North America on July 3, 2012, less than three months after it was initially released in Japan. The popular music rhythm game also found its way onto iOS devices on December 13, 2012.
